We will be meeting between 6:30-6:45 pm at the Galeries Aylmer shopping centre, outdoors by the Principale Street main entrance of Super C foodstore.

Aylmer's Santa Claus Parade

Year after year, this brightly lit parade in the Aylmer sector of Gatineau attracts crowds from all around the region! It leaves the corner of Principale and Front at 7 p.m., and ends at the Galeries Aylmer shopping centre.

We can finalize meeting-up logistics closer to the event date. Best to plan on arriving a bit early as there could be traffic and parking issues.

Where can I park?

There is free parking available at the Galeries Aylmer and surrounding centres.

You can also park at the arenas (access via Lucerne blvd, Frank Robinson, Patrimoine)

How long is the parade?

The parade lasts about one hour

Where can I watch the parade?

The parade makes its way along Principale st starting at the corner of Front, then turns on Wilfrid Lavigne for a short while

Which streets will be closed?

Principale St will be closed between Front and Wilfrid Lavigne

Wilfrid Lavigne will be closed between Principale and Le Guerrier from 6 till about 8H30.

Can I drop off my letter to Santa?

Yes, Canada Post has walking mailboxes available during the parade

Is there a food or money collection?

The Société St-Vincent de Paul d’Aylmer collects money during the parade

Who benefits from it?

Last year, 238 families received food for Christmas from donations collected during the parade.

Who can be in the parade?

If you are a sports organisation, a marching band or group, a community organism or commerce you can be in the parade. Please consult the rules and use the registration form
