Cazba Persian Restaurant

Greetings culinary adventurers! This Friday we'll be exploring the rich and diverse Persian cuisine! Cazba Restaurant is known for having some of the finest Persian delicacies available in Vancouver. The history of Persian cuisine dates back almost to 3rd Century. With heavy influences from many of the surrounding areas, Persian cuisine has is as diverse as the long history of the country itself. Most of the cuisine can be identified by the region that it's form, specifically Northern Iran, Central Iran and Southern Iran. This is a great chance for those who don't necessarily partake of my outdoor adventures to come inside and join me for an indoor adventure. What better way to enjoy it than over kebobs or stew? Come out to Cazba and let's enjoy the last month of the year with a Persian dinner!

Great food, good company. Thanks everyone and especially Chris for organizing and Saira for the information about the light maze!

I've already seen the mixed reviews, but I've also had numerous requests for it as well. I always research everything I do, from hiking to restaurants and everything else on the calendar.

FYI, the only tickets left for the maze are after 8 pm. The 'general all access' ones are sold out. I'm going with another group on the 10th.

Thanks everyone for recognizing my efforts! In case any of you are interested, I am visiting a Persian bakery this afternoon for some delicious Iranian deserts. I might organize a meetup in Little Tehran in January.

Wow, what a great experience! Thank you so much to everyone who came out tonight! It's great to catch up to familiar faces as well as meeting new people. Seeing everyone laughing and enjoying the dinner was truly a great start to the weekend. The food was fantastic as expected. The rice was meal in itself, the eggplant dish was delicious and the onion was powerful no one dared touch it! Of course, none of this matters without the people who came out tonight. Everyone except for myself came out and sat amongst people we've never met before, but by the end of the night we all made friends. That's really why I do what I do, and to see everyone come together and enjoy these memorable moments means a lot as a Meetup organizer. Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to our next meet!

Thanks Chris for organizing. And a special thank you to Diana for the excellent food recommendations. I was so full that I couldn't eat again until the next evening!

This is a reminder that if you sign up, you must be absolutely certain that you are attending. This evening alone I banned three people from my Meetup group. I do not expect an explanation as to why you can not attend, I do expect that out of courtesy to myself and my Meetup group that you change your RSVP to "No". It is disrespectful to myself, The Outdoor and Culture Club as well as other members when people sign up and fail to attend. Can you imagine how you would feel if you signed up for an event and the organizer didn't show up? Take time to thoroughly read through the description and understand what is expected from you should you decide to attend my excursions.

Well, anything can happen as it's still some time away. We'll see each other before then anyhow, perhaps at the cinema or for dinner. :)

Well, definitely Sunday for dim sum! And for butter chicken if you pick my downtown restaurant suggestion :-D I had suggested to the VSO that I'd love to hear them play the LOTR symphony and coincidentally the West Coast Symphony is doing it, so I'm pretty much set on attending that.
