Jimbo in conjuction with The Rancho Simi Trailblazers will lead this hike up the Chumash Trail in boring but beautiful Simi Valley. Bring a jacket if you get chilly in the night air. It's mostly a steady climb to where the trail meets with the Rocky Peak firewood. We will return by the same route. Be careful on the downhill at roughly the half-way mark as there is a section of very loose stones where it is easy to slip and fall. Try to land on more of your foot than just the heel for better traction.
