Hump Day Hike: Los Robles Scenic Loop

We'll do this hike in a clockwise loop starting at the Los Padres trailhead with its hauntingly beautiful oak grove at the trailhead.  We'll walk through this grove, then climb up a wee bit and out onto a fire road that will link up with the Scenic View spur from the Los Robles trail.  We can stop at the ridge top where there are a couple benches and take in the sights of the Conejo Open Space and the 101 corridor before we descend on the Los Robles trail which will take us back to a different trailhead at the end of Moorpark road.  From there it is a short walk on the sidewalk back to the Los Padres trailhead where we started.

Distance: 3.5 miles
Difficulty: Beginners ok
Dogs: Yes, leashed
Restrooms: No
Water Fountain: No
Parking: Free on residential street
Trail: Mostly fire road, some single-track
Sunset: 6:33 pm
Known Dangers: Rattlesnakes, slip-'n-fall. I think there is some poison oak after the oak grove and before we get to the fire road, so be careful not to brush up against leafy, non-grass things.

The best part of a hike is always hanging with good friends. Smaller memories would be the hot nuts, the little santa, a heart made of stones, and Adams cute monkey hat.

Since you are on this hike, it's doubtful you've been kicked out. At the top of this page, when viewed on a PC or MAC, at the far right is "My Profile". Click on that and select "email and notifications". If the items that come up, like "New Meetup Scheduled" are not checked, that would account for you not getting messages. If that's the case check them. If that's not the case, check your spam folder in your email to see if they are landing there. If those things don't work, here's the official meetup page for dealing with those problems:
