This will be the 3rd. installment of this very special hike!

**Update - This will also commemorate the 3,000th. member of The PM Hikers, who just so happens to be joining us tonight!**

This is a special hike to the cross atop Mt. McCoy during the week preceding Easter, when it is illuminated by volunteers from the Simi Valley Rotary Club. It will be your only chance for 2018 and we will probably be too old next year to drag our butts up the hill anyways...so don't miss out!!!

While not difficult, this hike is satisfying to the legs as well as the eyes. This accessible location is on the west side of Simi Valley, a very short drive from the 118.

You may read a very interesting description and history of Mt McCoy by clicking here (http://www.simitrailblazers.com/hikes/mtmccoy.html), but from the top of McCoy you will have a breathtaking 360-degree panoramic view of Simi Valley, Moorpark, the Simi Hills, the Santa Susana Mountains, the Santa Monica Mountains, and on a clear day, the Channel Islands in the Pacific Ocean.
