What we’re about
Welcome to the Peoria Backpackers Meetup Group. If you like the outdoors as much as we do, and love sitting around the camp fire telling tall stories, this group is for you. Come join us as we trek out into the Wilderness. We will learn the basics of backpacking, including gear, clothing, and meals. WE have a fun group of people that will keep you laughing and having a good time.
Before joining this group, keep in mind that we are mainly a Backpacking Group. Our Events are tailored to backpacking. You will be expected to have your own gear (although we do share) and be physically fit. Please read our FAQ page posted on our Message Board.
