We have all encountered crises in our lives that have turned our certainty into confusion, shattered our dreams, and replaced our hope with despair. When our world is turned completely upside down, how can we find ourselves again and move forward? Ancient myths present us with analogous circumstances where the Hero must overcome fear and doubt in order to confront these tests that block our way.

In this brief lecture, we will examine the timeless teachings given to Arjuna in the Hindu classic, The Bhagavad Gita, to discover how we must first conquer ourselves in order to conquer the adversity in the world around us. This kind of knowledge is both empowering and liberating and can be applied directly to our lives today.

Join us for this FREE lecture, and should you want to continue, join us in Porter Square for our course: Philosophies of East and West. This course is designed to make timeless wisdom both accessible and practical. The impact of these essential truths in our everyday lives can be life altering if lived and not just learned.
