Invitation to Kanikapila Hawaii Potluck, September 22, 2018
Join in for evening of island-style music, food, singing and hula. September 22, 2018. Indoors at our studio. It's a pot-luck, bring a dish! Bring an instrument to play your favorite songs. Open to any ages. It's indoors at our hula studio. Weʻre in a fitness space and we don't always have chairs, so please bring one. 7560 S. Willow Tempe, AZ The nearest cross streets are Elliot and McClintock. Take 101 to McClintock, go west. At the first street west of McClintock, turn right, we're in an office building on the left (Empowered Living Center). Please enter through the back door. Come and play along, we mostly play Hawaiian music, or you can bring copies of any song you like. Musicians, singers and hula dancers are welcome; please bring your instruments, singing voice and/or dance attire. Bring family, bring a cooler and make an evening of it. Bring your favorite pot luck dish, hot or cold. Pick songs from He Mele Aloha, or bring printed copies of your favorites to share. We provide: PA system and microphones Dance space You bring: Instruments and stands Music stand Your choice of songs A cooler of refreshments Pot luck dish Dance attire A chair Pau ka hilahila. (No shame!)
