Pamper A Pooch for 67 minutes at Wetnose Animal Rescue Centre (Pretoria East)
We will be visiting Wetnose ( http://www.wetnose.org.za/ ) to spend some time with homeless animals. Come and dip, bath, style, powder and puff a shelter doggie as part of your 67 minutes. Bring your picnic baskets and lots of treats for the animals. All donations as well as dog and cat food and warm winter blankets are very welcome and much needed. Entrance Fee: A bag of Dog or Cat food This special Wetnose event starts at 9am, but you can arrive at any time. They do allow you to walk the dogs, but it is up to each person to decide with which animals they want to interact with. Walking the dogs isn't done under supervision so it would require you to be confident with walking dogs. What we're about

Do you ever feel that you want to contribute to society - that you want to join a non-profit or volunteering organization or to help out in some way - but just don’t know where to start? Diverse Volunteers Meetup was created just for you! Our aim is to find ways in which to help out in the community and we are open to suggestions! We feel that it’s important not to be formally associated with any specific organization, but rather to provide help where help is needed. The MeetUp is open to everyone, and diversity - in terms of race, religion or whatever else - is encouraged. So what are you waiting for? Come on, join us, and let’s make the world a better place to be in, one small step at a time :-)
