There is no specific age, background, or career that you need to have to become a member - just women seeking a community of other women, a safe space to connect and focus on ourselves for a bit. We call it The Refuge, a safe space for women to learn and focus on self-care techniques.
What do we mean by self-care? Well I'm glad you asked...
We live in a fast-paced society that tends to discourage us from prioritizing our physical and mental well-being. Often times we are praised for things like working 60 hours a week, being able to function off four hours sleep, and never missing a school party, function, or social event. These turn into a competition of who is working the hardest and even bragging about how “exhausted or stressed” we are - because we wear it as a badge of honor of that’s what it takes to be successful.
Our culture praises a “go hard” tendency and doesn’t reward the benefits of being physically and mentally healthy. Which is such a shame! When we don't prioritize taking care of our self, our physical and mental well-being suffer - and we can't be there for the people we want to support.
We want to help women carve out a little bit of time for self-care - 1 to 2 hours per month - to connect with other like minded women and focus on learning ways to improve our physical and mental well-being. We want to arm you with information on self-care topics that could improve your physical and mental well-being, that might spark your interest to change some less-than-desirable habits.

Do you want to learn better ways to de-clutter and simplify your life, better time management? We hear you! There are so many other women in that same position, and The Refuge is a safe space of women to learn more and focus on these!
These are all topics that we have to give you some inspiration for taking time for yourself and focusing on self-care, to be the best and healthiest version of YOU!
