Running is a good workout. Running up a hill is an awesome workout. Be awesome!
Each Friday of the month we do a slightly different workout.
1st Friday - Hill sprints
2nd Friday - Hill repeats, but with obstacles along the way (push ups, squats, row boats, etc..)
3rd Friday - Anything Goes! Special random deck of cards workout where you could draw a card that has you run to the graffiti wall and back or has you stay at the base and do push ups. Repeat for 30 minutes.
4th Friday - DAY OF RECKONING! Our monthly challenge to do as many hill repeats as you can in 30 minutes. Try to beat your total from last month!
Hill repeats consist of running up the 0.4 mile incline, touching the graffiti wall at the top, then turning around and jogging back to the bottom. And repeat!
All levels are welcome! Everyone runs or walks or runs-walks at their own pace!
Bag watch will be provided at the base of the bridge, but please be aware that there is a lot of traffic from pedestrians and bikers on the bridge, so you should always exercise caution with your personal belongings. Always keep valuables on your person at all times.
