    This is an optional event at our sister club, the Robotics Society of Southern California California State University, Long Beach Engineering Technology Building Room 241 1331 Palo Verde Ave Long Beach, CA 90840 Parking: Parking on the campus lots is NOT free. If you don't want to pay $7 for one day's parking, you will need to park on the street. If you arrive by 10 AM there should be enough room on the street. You can buy permits at the machines found surrounding the parking lots. Parking Lot 9 is right in front of the Engineering Technology building. We are on the second floor, nearly at the far end of the building. Starts at 10 AM. 10 - 11 AM: Lecture 11 - Noon: class Followed by a break, business meeting, contests, and show and tell. • Meetings often go past 3 PM. • They often have contests. • Many of our members go to both club meetings.     Can't get enough robots? Then you are in luck! Our other sister club, "The Techroom" robotics club in San Bernardino, the NEWEST robotics club in S. California, now meets the FIRST SATURDAY of every month. 11 AM to 2 PM at Del Vallejo Middle School.

  • Lincoln Memorial Shrine and Animatronic Outing

    125 W Vine St

    Please join the Riverside Robotics Society on the 30th of March. We will visit the Lincoln Memorial Shrine which is hosting Garner Holt's Animatronic Lincoln figure, the most lifelike and complicated robotic figure that exists. Garner said that he will try to be there for us. Please reserve your space early as we are limiting this to 20 people. There is a museum fee of $5 that each member will pay at the door of the museum.
