SF Semantic Web meetup

It's about time for another Semantic Web meetup. Join us for an informal social semantic web session to discuss all things happening in the semantic web world and gather ideas for future meetups.

(Please be advised that this will be a social event and we do not plan to run a formal presentation at this session)

Great conversations but we could have lost people with the interruption of the impromptu venue change. Thanks to Marco for instigating this Meetup.

While the presenter and content were excellent, it is ironic that the very SMW+ tool, developed for knowledge management has yet to spawn a state of the art knowledge base for this industry. Additionally, the SMWCon presentations contain valuable information but most of it will probably be forgotten soon enough. As promoters of an excellent knowledge management tool, perhaps future presentations could practice "knowledge mobilization", whereby the enlightenment provided is followed up by additional content and references that promote and support the full enlightenment-to-actualization process for all who would benefit from actualizing the information presented. Knowledge Mobilization should, in my opinion, be included within the SMW+ knowledge management platform.

It really would have been better if the availability of the venue had been determined in advance.
