From Carpe Diem to Carpe Annum: Put a Swing in Your Step for 2018
• What we'll do For many of us, the dreary winter weather combined with the hopes and pressures of a new year can often leave us feeling sad and weary. Here’s your chance to re-invigorate your new year’s resolutions (or throw away the already old ones and invent new ones!) in an unexpectedly fun, friendly and spontaneous way. Join us for 90-minutes of unadulterated play where you’ll meet other like-minded play seekers in search of reconnecting with their best playful selves. Throw in a sprinkle of playfully facilitated self-reflection for the insights you need to give yourself a boost to get 2018 started with a swing and swoosh! What will we explore? - What it feels like to be your playful self so you can recognise it - How you like to have fun and your play preferences - Ways to bring your playful self to life more of the time - Ways to make more of your dreams, wishes and goals come true in 2018 Format of the event - An interactive workshop - We apply The School of Play’s Play Manifesto ( - You choose which activities to take part in - You take a break as and when you want - You don’t have to speak in front of the larger group What will you take away? - A deeper connection with your playful self - Fresh thinking and insights on yourself and your dreams, wishes and goals - Increased inner calm and confidence that you have what it takes to achieve your goals - Ideas on how to make more of your dreams, wishes and goals come true in 2018 About Portia Tung Portia is passionate about people, process and continuous improvement. If you like, bring along a notebook and pen to record ideas, insights and actions you come across during this mini play adventure. • Important to know Buy your ticket to play here:

Have you lost your mojo and feel bored with life? Are you stuck in a rut and can't quite figure out how to get out of it? Does work keep getting in the way of your dreams? Have you reached a crossroads and don't know which way to go?

If you answer is "Yes…" to one or more of these questions, then it's time to act swiftly before the zombie virus gnaws away the last bit of your brain and stymies forever your chances of turning your hopes and wishes into reality.
