For tai chi enthusiasts from beginners with no experience to players with lots! From our regular local classes/workshops to those further afield or arranged with visiting teachers, we teach a broad, deep and complete curriculum (to begin with that's maybe not so important, but to truly progress all aspects of tai chi need to be considered - start as you mean to go on...).
There are many different descriptions for tai chi, but authentic, traditional tai chi from a genuine family lineage is proven to be great for reducing stress, improving calm, nourishing health in the joints/bones and being fun to learn! Our experience in a wide range of styles of tai chi as well as other related arts nourish our teaching (and your learning) for a healthier, happier you. Steyning Qigong, Meditation and Internal Development

Where tai chi is the art of flow and harmony, qigong is the skill of health and happiness. Through both we discover our natural body and movement, gaining peace, health and stillness of mind. This class will train traditional qigong including authentic baduanjin, zhan zhuang and other sets that cross over with tai chi training for internal conditioning and health, training in breathwork and meditation. Although recommended as an additional class (to the tai chi class at 9.30, for example) for those with a deeper interest in internal, meditative and health arts, it may also be taken as a class on its own.
