1300 First Avenue, Seattle, WA
This is an amazing show! I've already seen it once and want to go back to see it again so that I can walk through even slower than before. Not only are there more than 100 of YSL's designs on display, but walls are also lined with his paper croquis and his color swatch combinations. Plus there are various video clips from movies where he designed the star's wardrobe, and other events/occasions. It's stunning, amazing, overwhelming, inspiring, and definitely worth the price of the ticket.
Here is a link with information on the show.
If you're already a member of SAM, you get in for free. If not, the cost is right around $25 for adults and $22 something for seniors, etc.
After we're done, or whenever we run out of room to appreciate, we can decamp for lunch. There used to be a pretty good Mexican restaurant down the stairs towards Western Avenue and I hope it's still there. Or, there are plenty of options across the street at the Pike Place Market.
I hope to see you there.
Sewing is cool; i'd love to start sewing again!
