Sip and Sketch - Beginners - is a chance to learn, make friends and relax.
We are meeting at Spacious local Chestnuts Community and Arts Centre set in Chestnuts Park.

Let's to have a trip …. going back to the roots of beginning drawing....starting with theme of West African masks:)

3 to 3.10 Introductions Masks designs from Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Mali where/what /why
3.20 Relaxing beginners mark making techniques/Geometric shapes
Demo and info on tools of the trade
4.oo Break for Get together
4.15. Creating and choosing design for Line drawing Mask / Wood Carving

Sessions include:

- Warm up sketches and activities

- Information on techniques; including line, shape, space and more

- Tutor Demonstrations, support and feedback

- New ways of seeing and thinking

- Explore sharing with other drawers

- Drinks and juices included :)
Pencils, paper, eraser and boards available /or bring your own
