Calling all "middle-aged beginner/intermediate bike riders" This group is for anyone interested in taking a slow and steady bike ride on the weekends to explore the many paved bike trails The Woodlands/Spring has to offer, we usually start early and keep a pace of around 10-13 MPH. These trips will not be breaking any speed records, and will require a midway stops to refuel. Group started off to explore the over 200 miles of paved bicycle trails in the Woodlands however we now have branched out into Spring. The average ride start to finish is two to three hours on a Saturday or Sunday. This is not competitive, just a few folks getting together for some exercise and and sometimes stop off for some good food.
"An enjoyable and casual riding" Average biking speed between 10-12 mph. Those who wish to turn around at any time may do so, those who want to put in more miles are welcome to do so.
I will meet you at Dennis Johnston Park ( First parking lot by the Harris police building), which is part of the Spring Creek Greenway, and connects to Pundt Park, the Stahl Preserve, and Jesse H.
