Mianus River Park Trail Maintenance Day

Hey mountain bikers, do you want to give back to the Mianus River Park? If so, then meet the Friends of the MRP at the bridge on Merriebrook Lane, at 9am and we'll work for about 3 hours. Please bring drinking water, gloves, and bug repellent (for ticks). We'll bring the tools. If you want to bring a hand spade for planting that's great! There will be light and heavy work. All help is appreciated! If you have trail work questions please use this email: [masked]

RAIN OR SHINE! We hope to see you there....

narrowing the entrance to the River Walk Trail leading into stepping stones and Treetops is a good idea.

I think the most important thing is to define a clear path and block of or screen portions of the forest-scape to allow re-vegetation at the River Walk Trail head.
