This is a book club for anyone who enjoys reading (or even creating) children's literature. From classics like Dr. Seuss, and C.S. Lewis, to recent works by the likes of Mac Barnett (http://www.macbarnett.com) and Oliver Jeffers (http://www.oliverjeffers.com) - let's read and discuss the best of children's literature and share our favourite works.
Also, if you're like me and have some ideas for children's books you'd like to workshop and get encouragement or feedback on, we can share those as well!
This group is for readers with a childlike sense of wonder left in their big busy adult brains, writers and artists who want to meet and share ideas, and anyone who enjoys a bit of nonsense and fun.
Cafes, parks, bookshops, private residences and haunted houses are all suitable meeting places.
"When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." - C.S. Lewis
