Listening To The Trees
Hello dear All, Sigrid here. As you will recall, in August we intend to go into the Blackdown Forest with Gordon Field, Artist, Teacher and Tree Dowser to hear what the forest can tell us and teach us. I strongly recommend to all who wish to come to have a look at Gordon's website, as it will give you an idea of how he works. As Gordon is also an artist, there are lovely works of art on display too, an added bonus. Here are the details for our visit (from 2.30 to 5pm) on the 19 August. It is recommended to arrive between 2.15pm and 2.30pm so that we can start promptly. The location is Gordon's orchard and the woodlands around it at Otterhead. He will be able to give the group a detailed understanding of the energies within the trees and the landscape. There is plenty of car parking and also covered space if the weather is inclement. There will be some walking around the woods so he suggests everyone has walking shoes and warm, waterproof clothing if the weather changes. Directions: From Taunton follow the B3170 Corfe to Honiton up to the top of Corfe Hill. Carry straight on at the crossroads and follow the road for half a mile. You will come to some bends with a farm on the right hand side. After these take the next turning on the right signposted to Otterford Church. Then branch right and follow the signs to Otterhead Forest School which will take you to the car park. His orchard is across the road. His address is Otterhead Lodge, Culmhead, Taunton, TA3 7EE (for Satnav purposes and Google directions). His telephone number is[masked] (if you get lost). As I have not been there myself, I don't know the location either and am in the same boat as everyone else. But please contact me if you want a lift - and also to let me know whether you are coming. Tea making facilities and biscuits will be available in his home. I hope to see quite a few of you as this will certainly quite a different kind of meeting, a kind of field trip (well, life is a big school, isn't it!). Sending you as always, love and blessings, Sigrid -------------------------------------------------------

What we're about

We are experienced in various therapies and group facilitation and are launching a new community of like-mended people to explore the bigger meaning of life - but in a new way based on the World Café model. Inspired by the founder of Cygnus Review Ann Napier, we can decide ourselves what we want to explore, talk about and do to make a difference in our lives and those of others.

This idea should appeal to those who are interested in bring about positive change in the world - as well as in themselves and who wish to interact with others with a similar approach to life.
