You’re invited to join Surati Haarbrucker and Kathy White, Certified Facilitators of The Work, at Vancouver Island’s OUR Ecovillage for a 3.5 day residential retreat starting Friday, May 17th at 7pm and ending Monday, 20th at 4pm.
“Human interaction can be a great spiritual practice…or it can be hell. When you receive whoever comes into your life at this moment as a noble guest, when you allow each person to be who they are, they begin to change. You may meet yourself and them for the first time...” ~Byron Katie~
Your relationships are a mirror. A playground where you can learn to be vulnerable, honest and responsible; free from grudges and resentments. We offer you concrete tools to expand the possibilities in all your relationships.
Whether its your relationship with yourself, your family, your neighbours or your community, you can use those relationships to grow, develop and learn. Be free no matter who you are relating to.
You will use The Work of Byron Katie (Inquiry) to look into your relationships and question the stressful stories you are holding on to. We will guide you in Mindfulness Meditations and Inquiry to bring to the surface those beliefs that contribute to creating “hell” in your relationships.
With an open mind, you may discover how you compromise your own happiness and freedom in the pursuit of pleasing others. What stories stop you from living honestly and in your own integrity?
As facilitators, we use our skills to support you inlearning practical and powerful tools that will benefit you for the rest of your life. Stretch and grow beyond limiting beliefs, and enhance your ability to lead a deeply fulfilling life, here and now.
