Dear friends,

Come and enjoy some great classical music in a cozy living room with about 25 fellow music lovers. We will provide complimentary wine and appetizers.

Internationally acclaimed pianist Lukas Mikolajczyk (https://lukasmiko.com/), a quarterfinalist at the 2015 International Chopin Piano Competition, returns to Music Friends with an exciting new program featuring the music of his Polish compatriots, the timeless Frédéric Chopin, and contemporary composer Ryszard Wrzaskala.

Headlining the evening will be the rather mysterious late masterpiece of Chopin, the Polonaise-Fantaisie. It will be accompanied by many other favourite works of Chopin, including the beautiful Barcarolle, as well as the charming "Minute Waltz" and its melancholic companion in C-sharp minor. The concert will be book-ended by two works by Wrzskala that show the influence and legacy of Chopin.

7:00pm: Doors open.
7:30pm - 8:30pm: Performance, with brief spoken introductions for each piece
8:30pm - 9:30pm: Mingling over complimentary wine and snacks
