MISSION STATEMENT: It is the Mission of the WCWG to provide honest, thoughtful, considerate and supportive feedback to its members and to facilitate the goal of improving and publishing their writing.

We currently have two openings for talented writers who can commit to submitting written work, reading and critiquing the work of the other members of the Guild, and attending meetings on a regular bases.

Meeting # 97 - February 2019

CCC Library - Walnut Creek

Our meeting will be at the Walnut Creek Library (as usual) in the Las Trampas Room and will include our second Round Table (luncheon) discussion. I will be contacting you for lunch orders from the library café. I've already spoken to Mark, the manager, and I have to let him know a week in advance.

Meeting #87 + A New Startup Activity

Needs a location

• What we'll do We will have our usual format: Housekeeping and Review of Submissions, plus the new feature described in the minutes of meeting #86. Lisa will provide a prompt for a ten minute writing exercise to start off our meeting. • What to bring Please bring your laptops, plugs, and a snack for the group. Rhoda is providing coffee. • Important to know

Meeting #90 - Submissions for this meeting are due no later than June 2nd.

At this meeting we'll decide whether we want to do a third anthology and what the theme of the anthology might be.
