Welcome Trailblazers to another Hump day hike!.. Some of my longer hikes may require some headlamp use so please be prepared, especially if we spend extra time at the top! This hike will be a moderately strenuous 7-8 mile OAB starting out at the Oak Creek Canyon Trailhead, and hiking through the Hope nature preserve along the Los Robles Trail. This time rather that hiking out to angel vista we will take a turn up a little hill :-), lol, then head out to Westlake on the Los Robles trail to the Lake Sherwood / Sentinals viewpoint. We will take a break at the 4 mile marker +/-, then head back. This is the first time posting , but should be good on distance and elevation, so hope you can all come out to enjoy our local trails.

Essentials:

Please wear – brush-resistant pants/shorts , one or more wicking shirts appropriate to the temperature, comfortable hiking shoes or light boots, your favorite undergarments and accessories, and a light backpack.

Please bring – at least two liters of water, snacks, an extra layer of clothing, a charged cell phone, identification, a headlamp, a small first-aid kit, bug repellant and sunscreen, a waterproof shell if rain is forecast, and any medications or anything else you might need on the trail.

Parking:

Free parking is available at parking lot at end of Greenmeadow Ave.

Please do not leave anything of value in your car, at this or any other trailhead.
