Time to re-explore the Los Robles trail system. This will be a 6 mile lollipop hike with approximately 1400 feet of elevation gain. We start at the trailhead at the back parking lot of Triunfo Park and go up to the Los Robles trail. We then loop around counter-clockwise by way of the White Horse canyon trail, across the ridge, and back down into the Triunfo trail. We will enjoy views of Ladyface Mountain, Lake Sherwood, Las Virgenes Reservoir as well as neighboring cities. At some point, atop White Horse trail, we will stop to enjoy a snack before descending back to the park.
Take 101 Freeway to Hampshire Road. Go south toward the beach to Triunfo Canyon Road and turn right. Go through several stop signs to Tamarack and turn right. Make second left into the second parking lot. Note: Do not park in the first parking lot. Trailhead is at the west side of the second parking lot.
