Welcome Trail-blazers! Let's do some canyon hopping in our local Wildwood park area. This is a fairly new hike that is sure to tire you when all is hiked and done. We start out on the Mesa trail then drop down into box canyon, to only climb out the canyon that then drops down into hill canyon to see and explore the new conejo canyon bridge.
Plan on 6-7 miles of moderately strenuous hiking at a fast pace with an elevation gain of[masked] ft.
We will then climb out of hill canyon and head over to watch the sunset on top of Lizard rock where we can sit and have a snack break before heading back to the parking lot. If time allows, on the way back we can tackle the Santa Rosa trail to the top and back adding another 400 ft +/-. Looking forward to showing you this new adventure! Hope you can join me.
