Welcome Trailblazers!. Hope you can come out for this one! This hike will start from the Simi valley area and cross over into Thousand Oaks Lang Ranch.

This route will be a 6 mile lollipop loop with 1500 ft. of elevation gain.

From the Long Canyon trailhead, we will hike up Long Canyon into Lang Ranch. We will drop down and connect with the Albertson Motorway. We will be on the Albertson Motorway for a short distance and then loop back towards Long Canyon. At the highest point of our route we will stop to enjoy the views. After the break, we will head back to the parking lot.

Most of the hike will be exposed so dress appropriately. Wear hats and sunscreen, and make sure you have plenty of water.

Directions:

From the 101: Take the 23 north to Olsen rd. Turn right (toward Simi) to Wood Ranch Parkway and turn right. Take Wood Ranch Parkway to the end where Long Canyon Road and Wood Ranch Parkway intersect. Make a right and then a left into the parking lot.

Parking:

There is free parking at the Long Canyon Trailhead parking area.

Please do not leave anything of value in your car, at this or any other trailhead.
