Welcome Trailblazers , Time to re-explore the Angel vista lookout with a little roller coaster workout on the Los Robles Trail!.

This is one of my favorite shorter hikes, that has been saved by the Springs fire, and all is in tact and ready to hike to see undamaged local chaparral along side some of the fire damaged chaparral along Potrero road. We'll take a little roller coaster hiking trip to enjoy the Island views from the Angel Vista picnic area. This hike starts just a half mile up the road from the Boney trailhead going toward hidden valley. The Park ranger closes the gate at 4pm,sometimes, so please park on either side of the street along side of Potrero rd.

A nice moderately strenuous fast paced 5 1/2 mile OAB with an elevation gain/loss of 1300 ft. and open space views of the Conejo Valley, Hidden Valley, and the Pacific Ocean/ Channel Islands. We will stop at the Angel Vista rest stop/ picnic area to enjoy the views, take in a snack before heading back to the parking area. Hope you can join me!
