What is the last book you read?

Re-reading The Catcher in The Rye at the moment.

Name your 3 favorite books and one that was just a big disappointment

Favorites: There are so many, but these three come to mind: The Catcher in the Rye, The Alchemist, and The Old Man and the Sea. BIG disappointment: Fifty Shades of Grey -- I know, I know; I wasn't expecting much, but I feel compelled to read anything that causes that much of a stir. Had to stop reading halfway through the first installment, though, for fear of dying of boredom.

Have you ever re-read a book because it was just so good?

Absolutely! See above.

Who is your favorite childhood author?

My favorite book as a child was an obscure one my dad picked up at a used bookstore -- Green Smoke. I made my parents read it to me over and over, and, when I got older, I read it some more on my own. The author, Rosemary Manning, gets some major props here from me.
