What is the last book you read?

The Adventures of Augie March, To the Light House, Re-read Anna Katerina so I could properly hate the movie and currently hacking away (again) at Infinite Jest

Name your 3 favorite books and one that was just a big disappointment

Under the Volcano, Novel with Cocaine and The Sun also Rises. I guess some of Thomas Hardys works are now rather a disappointment. Far from the Maddening Crowd was one of my favorite books as a teenager and after recently re-reading I was somewhat let down.

Have you ever re-read a book because it was just so good?

Haha, see above - yup!

Who is your favorite childhood author?

Dotie Smith's I captured the castle is fantastic. But I love children's lit so I have quite a few. I'm also obsessed with Children's Illustrators

Hello, I love the picks you've read in the past! I've read some of Nabakov- The Eye being a personal favorite and would love to give this a go. I live in Williamsburg and am a vivacious reader. I'd love to be a part of your group! Thanks, Maeve
