• Film Club - Hotel Salvation (India)
Overworked businessman Rajiv agrees to honor the final wish of his father, accompanying him to the holy city of Varanasi. While his father revels in the simple pleasures of this timeless place, Rajiv finds himself burdened by the many obligations he left behind. Eventually though, both father and son learn to appreciate each other and the world around them with newfound meaning. All Film Club programs are free and open to the public and are shown in the library’s upstairs meeting room. Selected films may contain objectionable material; therefore Film Club attendance is recommended for adults, aged 18 and over. Coffee, tea and popcorn are provided, and a lively discussion follows each film.
