Connecting to the Divine Energies Within Us Through Sacred Dance

Experiencing Presence and Connecting to the Divine Energies Within Through Sacred Dances:

An Introduction to the Gurdjieff Divided Attention Movements

There are many ways of introspection and inner work. Ancient teachings can be expressed through the language of the heart as art, through the intellect as literature and science, or through movement by using the main tool: our bodies.

Tools of Enlightenment called “Divided Attention Exercises" were designed by Schools of Consciousness whose focus was on inner development. The dances that were taught by these schools opened an internal space for reflection and meditation in motion.

Please join Conscious Harmony on Sunday, July 29th

5:00 p.m.

Bonda Yoga Studio

4A Bond Street, Great Neck NY

For a Sacred Dances workshop presented by

International Speaker on Mysticism, Elias Menasse.

Elias will provide the history of the Gurdjieff Sacred Dances. These dances were created by mystic and spiritual guru G.I. Gurdjieff, who combined Sufi and other traditions to explore the connection between movement and spirituality.

And, we will experience an introductory lesson in the art of using these sacred movements to create conscious harmony and inner peace.

Please dress comfortably, and plan to arrive at the Studio no later than 4:45 p.m.

The fee for this workshop is $15.00 (pre-paid), and $20.00 at the door. You may pay via Paypal when you RSVP for the event.

I'll try to add that information to the listing. Thank you for pointing out that we didn't specify an end time. Hope to see you Sunday!
