Chef Andrew presents... an evening in Spain!

Join Chef Andrew and friends for an evening of great food and excellent wines to celebrate all things Spain!   Guests arrive around 7:00PM and dinner starts shortly thereafter.  To secure your RSVP for this dinner, prepayment is required.  Please go to Chef Andrew's web store and click on the Taste of Spain  thumbnail.  Payment may be made via the PayPal link contained therein.

 For this wine pairing dinner, Chef Andrew suggests:

1. gazpacho - chilled Spanish soup of tomatoes, cucumbers, onion , bell pepper with herbs and spices

Finca el Refugio Verdejo

2. ensalada murciana - salad from the eastern part of Spain featuring tomatoes, capers, roasted peppers, and boiled egg

Finca el Refugio Syrah Rose

3. lamb with Romesco sauce and pasta

Finca el Refugio Tempranillo

 4. smoky paella mixta - traditional rice dish cooked over an open fire with seafood and Spanish chorizo

Finca el Refugio Cabernet/Merlot blend

 5. orange cake with orange slices in red wine

    I couldn't agree more with Vernon. As "newbies" to the Meet Up group and Chef Andrew's incredible cuisine, Robin and I were delighted with the entire evening -- food, wine, conversation and our new best friends! I for one will definitely be on Chef Andrew's list for the next dinner. In fact, I'd be happy to host one at my Brookhaven home since I found two other neighbors from my city! Gracias everyone!
