Tam-a-lau Trail at Cove Palisades State Park Level 3

This is a 6.8 mile trail located near Culver, Oregon. It offers high views of the Crooked and Deschutes Rivers and plenty of wildlife sightings. The first mile of the trail is a 600' elevation gain to get to the top, then a nice loop trail around the rim. Meet at 9:30 am at Stabucks in Cascade Villlage to carpool or meet us at 10:15 am at the Tuam- A- Lau trailhead. Well- behaved dogs are welcome and will have a ball once they are up on the plateau and can run free :--) Pls bring your forest pass. a lunch and plenty of water . I expect us to be back in town around 3-4 pm .
