Give a small bio of your outdoor experiences

Hiking since I was a little boy with my Dad. I like adventurous hikes, with some scrambling and distance.

What is the maximum altitude you can handle?

Well, I have been over 20,000 in the Himalayas, but I will say 14,000 at my advanced age.

Are you familiar with the 10 essentials and how they change with different events?

What outdoor events do you prefer?

Fast road bike rides, challenging hikes, beautiful views.

Is your activity pace slow, medium or fast?

I am considered pretty darned fast, once I get warmed up.

I have been doing and leading MeetUps for about five years, probably 50+. I like longer and harder, particularly off-trail.
