Announcing a new event for The Bend Hiking Meetup Group!

What: Hike to the Glacial lake at Broken Top

When: Saturday, August 4, 7:15 AM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Join us for a high-elevation hike to one of the most spectacular locations in our area. The glacial lake at Broken Top is stunning and the views from the ridge beyond it are awesome. It's a relatively short hike but uphill and some parts are rough with patches of snow.

We will drive up Forest Road 370 to the trail head. This is only suitable for High Clearance vehicles. The hike is out in the open so - sunscreen and water are essential.

Once again, we suggest an early start.

Distance around 6 miles round trip.
Elevation gain around 1000 feet.

Meet at Starbucks on Century Drive at 7:15.
A Forest Pass is required.
