Announcing a new Meetup for The Bend Hiking Meetup Group!

What: Canyon Creek Meadows Hike

Meetup Description: We will meet at the Starbucks at the Cascade Village shopping center and carpool to the trailhead, off highway 20 8 miles east of the Santiam.

Hike Length: 7.5 mile loop
Elevation Gain: 1,400 feet
William Sullivan's difficulty rating: Moderate
Optional 1.4 mile rt to Wasco Lake

Get up close to Three Fingered Jack
Glacier cirque lake
Wildflower meadows

Bring a jacket if you want to climb up the saddle near Jack--it can be cold and windy.

Directions to the trailhead for those who will be driving:
Note, this is a 30 mile drive one way.

Highway 20 to Wilderness Trailheads sign at milepost 88, 12 miles west of Sisters
4.4 miles on Jack Lake Road 12
Left on Road 1230 for 1.6 miles
Left on Gravel 1234 for 6 miles to trailhead at Jack Lake campground
