Small Group Discussion (SGD) is a way for us to receive specific feedback on our photography and discuss the photography of others. This is a great way to have the conversation that you want to have about your work, and see and learn more about the work of others.
We'll break up into groups of about 4-5 and each member will present one of their photographs to their group. After a few minutes of discussion on that photo, the next person in the group will present their image and we'll continue round-robin style until everyone has had a chance to present. This is a good chance to ask specific questions about your work, and get feedback from other photographers in the group. This is also a good opportunity to bring different treatments (for example, one in color and one in black and white) of a single image and see what others think.
Before the meet-up I'll create an album where you should upload 3 photographs you'd like to discuss. If anyone has a laptop or tablet they can bring to the meet-up, please bring it. The more laptops we have the better.
If you have any questions, please let us know in the comments.
