Have a flash but don't really know how to use it?
Seen other people use their flash and wonder, why are they doing it like that?
Want to take your photography to the next level?
This 2-hour workshop will cover the basics of light, and how to improve your photos using your flash on and off camera.
The workshop will be a mix of lecture and hands-on practice. The topics we will cover include:
A quick review of the manual mode of your camera An overview of the different parts of your flash unit and how to manipulate them Four key components to light and how they affect your photographs Tips and techniques to use light to make your photos stand out And of course, various assignments will be given out during the workshop to allow you to practice what you've learned You should have a basic understanding of aperture-shutter speed-ISO/ASA/Speed, know how to set and utilize your camera in manual mode, and be able to set your flash to manual.
If you are unsure of your abilities in any of these areas, The Exposure Theory class held before this workshop is designed to improve your foundations.
