Love taking pictures and then reworking them to realize my image in software. Probably high end amateur with some sales. I am an active member of the Charlottesville Camera Club.
Almost anything except studio and models. Scenery, architecture and children. Reflections--love anything with a reflections. My one granddaughter is a dancer. Her recitals provide endless opportunities.
After using an SLR film camera for years, I had been using a high end point and shot for the past 10 years. I then got a low end Nikon D3100 DLSR. A lovely camera, but I moved up to a D7000 because of it greater sensitivity and faster burst mode. But am not giving up my 12X Panasonic which is very portable, good quality, and enormous range on the lens.
Further develop my photographic and appreciation skills. Some of the workshops and group photoshoots have delivered exactly what I want. The adrenaline shootoffs are fun and always challenging; they help get me out of my comfort zone. The club is a very positive experience.
Yes. Whatever I agree to on the final assignments, I will do. I have volunteered faithfully for years with the Virginia Film Festival.
I am a professor of chemistry at UVA I hike, ski, bike and have a third degree black belt in Taekowndo. I am a New Mexican and my web page is devoted to things to do in the Southwest and my movie reviews at http://people.vir...
In spite of the announcement problem I think we got a better turn out than usual.
