What we're about

WAIT! WAIT! Don't go anywhere! Read on... We've got almost 600 musicians involved in chamber music activities of all kinds, you just won't find them here! We're no longer handling memberships through Meetup, please read on first, then e-mail Info@DCCOS1.org if you'd like to join us, or one of our affiliate Meetups described below.

Welcome! Thanks for your interest in the DC Chamber Musicians (DCCM) Meetup Group. This Meetup is intended for chamber musicians who have a desire to advance their rehearsal and performance skills. Musicians at the intermediate level and above are welcome to join (sorry, we do not accept requests from non-musicians).

Current members, please check your e-mail for important announcements about this group!

Annual dues are $50 per year (effective July 1, 2018).

While quality music production is the goal, participation is still relaxed. Nerves and feeling intimidated can be left at the doorstep. We're a collegial, congenial, non-competitive group; criticism and attitude are not welcome.

Features and services of this Meetup are listed below. Unless specified otherwise, all services are covered by your annual membership dues.

• Membership in a large community of skilled chamber musicians.
• Post your own meetup events to find playing partners and schedule rehearsals.
• Access to rehearsal facilities, several with good pianos.
• Opportunities to participate in chamber music master class coaching sessions (3 or 4 per year).
• Opportunities to perform in DCCM sponsored chamber music concerts (3 or 4 per year).
• Opportunities to perform at ArtsMatter Events sponsored by the New Orchestra of Washington.
• Opportunities to perform at Outreach performance events.
• Eligibility for private coaching from the Music Director of the DC Concert Orchestra.
• Summer 2019 weekend long music mini-camp (additional fees apply, but members get a discount).
