To all planning on attending the Hike Over the Trinity River / Paws on the Prairie event
here are some tips......

6500 Great Trinity Forest Way (formerly 6500 S. Loop 12)

Look for the Audubon Center sign at the entrance on the south side of the street.
Turn in there and park in the trail head lot on the left.

The trail head parking lot is very close to the road.

If you get there after 8:45 you may have to park on the driveway to the Audubon Center
or you may need to take the driveway all the way to the Audubon parking lot and walk
back to the trailhead parking lot. (NOTE: They will charge you $5 for the event)

The Walk:

We will start the walk at 0900 sharp. If you get there late you may be able to rendezvous
with the group later. Text me at[masked] if needed.

The Weather:

Expect chilly temps to start off so bundle up.Bring gloves and a scarf.
It should be a nice day after we start the walk with temps in the 50's.

The Event at The Audubon Center:

After the walk is over we will end up at The Audubon Center. That should be around 10:30. There are restrooms
and water fountains. Bring snacks if you think you will need some food. This year their flyer says, "taste great food"
but I'm not sure what they call, "food" . They even let dogs inside if you want to bring them in to warm up.

See you Saturday,
