519 Currumbin Creek Rd Currumbin Valley
This Japanese Garden is open to the public for the first time this weekend only. With the Swell meet up on Sunday, we will only have this Saturday (22 Sept) to visit this spectacular Japanese garden, spanning 11 acres. The cherry blossoms are expected to be flowering by this weekend. This tranquil property features a cantilevered tea house, a 200 year-old dairy farm, rock garden and bush tucker plantings. Enjoy a lush rainforest walk or even a cup of coffee or homemade treats. There is a $5.00 entry fee (all proceeds go to charity) & dont forget your $1.00 for Neil's website management. Gates open at 9 am & I suggest that we meet at 8.45 am. I will need to leave by 12 noon, but you are welcome to stay until gates close if you like. This will be a great opportunity for photographers, and dont forget to bring your macro lenses.
