About Glow http://www.gloweindhoven.nl/website/glow/glow.php?gshow=order&eventId=13&Curr=1&action=home&lId=2 Monumental buildings appearing as brightly colored candy houses in an enchanted forest, a sea of luminous water lilies, a gray colossus shrouded in Mondrian colors, a creature that rises from the waters of the Channel, the Philips Stadium as a stage for a light and sound spectacle. From 9 till November 16th 2013 the inner city of Eindhoven gets a makeover by the special light installations of GLOW. The route takes you along several locations, some of them participate in the light art festival for the first time. Last year GLOW attracted a record number of 450,000 visitors from home and abroad. On the more than four kilometers long route remarkable light art can be seen, sometimes with an active role for the viewer. Some cultural and educational institutions also present light art and exhibitions within the theme “Urban Playground”. The city of Eindhoven reveals itself as a perfect playground for the creative light artists. The visitors get sucked into their play.
