    This event is primarily for people who feel like they don’t have enough time to nurture and nourish themselves, yet who think they have all the time in the world to hold space, and take care of others.

    We will offer simple, practical, and applicable routines to return self care as YOUR top priority, which can help you align your work and the rest of your life with the results that matter most.

    One of the most overlooked aspects of relating is your own relationship to self care. Peter has devoted the last 15 years in experimenting, studying, and living 9 simple principles that can help you keep your own emotional, physical, spiritual, and mental components running at YOUR optimum level. We are offering fun experiential exercises to help you bring these 9 self care tools home with you.

    Tips to help quiet the mind and be more aware of your behaviors. We will touch on some mindful meditation practices like qigong, and dance and go over some simple nutrition hacks on how to nourish the body easier.
    Basically we will learn easy strategies, that you can do at home or on the road, that help you consistently operate at “Your best”

    Peter brings his love of a moving meditation from China called Qigong. So what is Qigong?

    For thousands of years people have captured the essence of these simple movements to maintain balance and to heal themselves mentally and physically. Qigong accelerates healing and has a positive clinically recognized effect on almost all physical symptoms. Qigong helps heal the physical body and release stress of the mind. By moving your body, releasing trigger points, and stimulating your circulatory system, you literally become your own massage therapist. Simultaneously these movements help release negative emotions and memories that you no longer need and allow yourself to be much more present in your "now" so in a sense you become your own psychiatrist at the same time! Come learn how to build the foundation of being your own health advocate and enjoy emotional freedom and connection to all that is!

    Enjoy meditation, integration, communication and opening to new aspects of how to live a more sustainable life by you just being more you...including Qigong, play, dance, silence, and spaces to say all the things you may never have been allowed to say, certainly never before encouraged and witnessed so deeply. Practicing fearless relating with yourself and every other relationship you will ever have. We are also dedicating a whole section devoted to self care including communion with nature, body work to release and move stored emotion and trauma from the body, enhancing the spirit with differing paths of meditation, and a deep dive into nutritional awareness to create self love, self acceptance, and to maintain our physical bodies in optimum health.

    ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS:
    Cathy Vartuli is a PhD Engineer by day and a relationship coach by night. Cathy is a sex positive Emotional Freedom Coach who helps people transform their traumas into their greatest strengths using love, laughter and inner guidance. She uses a practical yet intuitive approach to help people connect with their own power and guidance. Prior to establishing her coaching business, Cathy got her Masters in Physics at SUNY Binghamton and her PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida, and worked in major semiconductor companies doing R&D.

    She loves engineering but was always curious why some people suffered and struggled, and others flowed from sweet spot to better place. Since 2006, Cathy has worked with several 1000 clients, and loves helping people reclaim their confidence, self-expression and inner power. She is a certified AAMET Advanced EFT Practitioner, and offers a wide range of programs and services – from audio products and programs, to group and individual coaching. Cathy specializes in coaching clients who want to transform their blocks so they can finally move into the life they’ve always wanted. You too can change your pain and frustration into love, laughter and empowerment!

    Monique Darling, Author of Beyond Cuddle Party, and workshop facilitator extraordinaire has led over 1500 workshops in the past 8 years. She is the founder of Juicy Enlightenment an organization dedicated to empowering people who are questioning the assumptions of how their life should be and to offering tools for self expression that create trust, inner knowing and wisdom to enjoy the life they have. Monique has taught at colleges across the US, including Yale, been featured on TLC and The Dr’s as well as various radio shows, podcasts and magazines across the USA. She specializes in helping others reclaim their power and natural sensuality by transmuting fear and repression into courage, self-love and freedom. Her primary purpose is helping folks bring out their vulnerability, energetic embodiment and fearless relating.She guides from a place of understanding and her natural exuberance is infectious!     Peter Petersen has been teaching for 15 years and has been a certified Sheng Zhen Qigong teacher for the last 13 years, where he has been teaching in health clubs, hospitals, retirement villas, and several different wellness/spa resorts in Mexico and the United States, such as Rancho La Puerta, Mayacamas Ranch, and Present Moment Retreat. Peter is also a personal wellness coach. This Qigong practice helps people ground themselves into their “now” to increase their present moment awareness of their behaviors, and find solutions to problematic habits such as: eating, moving, negative thinking,
    and sleeping. The result of this tool box of healthy information is that clients become their own health advocate and regain a sense of stability, peace, and well-being into their everyday lives.
