Rant Ceilidh Fri 7th December
Live band; raucous nonsense; excellent caller; real ale at bar, gender neutral calling. Our monthly RANT ceilidh on the first Friday of each month. Doors open 7.45pm and our main session is 8pm - 11pm. We'll enjoy raucous ceilidh dancing with live band and caller in a beautiful building with helpful staff serving awesome ale. This event is perfect for those who're new to this type of dancing and those who've done it a hundred times before. Tickets are £12 in advance via Paypal from this site - this will ensure you have a ticket reserved. Tickets may also be available on the door for £12, but you'll have to get there early to be sure to get in. Suitable for age 15+ TICKETS ALSO AVAILABLE http://www.brightonceilidh.co.uk How to buy tickets: 1. If you're not already a member of Rant/Meetup then click on the box which says 'join us'. This should ask you to fill in a few details - I think the only ones you have to complete are your name and email address if you'd rather not answer everything. 2. Click 'RSVP' and answer 'yes'. At this point it'll ask you if you're bringing any guests, so if you want additional tickets, this is where you can add them. 3. This should now take you to Paypal where you can buy the tickets. If you have a Paypal account, then it's more straight forward, but if you don't, then you can still buy tickets using their system using a visa card. 4. I hope this is helpful, but please don't be stuck! You can reach me Lou on[masked] or by email [masked]

What we're about

Brighton Ceilidh Collective host this lively public ceilidh in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex, held on the first Friday of every month. Tickets also available from our own website http://www.brightonceilidh.co.uk

Come along from 8pm - 11pm and enjoy raucous ceilidh dancing with live band & caller in a beautiful building, with helpful staff serving awesome ale. Rant is perfect for anyone who's new to this type of dancing, or even if you've done it a hundred times before!

(In case you don't know, ceilidh is a Gaelic word, pronounced 'kayley', and basically means a 'dance party' - an informal social get-together with trad music, have-a-go dancing, refreshments and lots of nonsense!)
