The Big Brighton Fringe Festival Ceilidh 2018
Join the irrepressible Brighton Ceilidh Collective for an evening of raucous nonsense and ceilidh dancing. It's going to be awesome! As you know, we're more about 'ceilidh attitude' than the perfect moves and this will have more 'attitude' than ever before. 'Ceilidh' means 'party' in Gaelic, and that's exactly what we'll do for our festival event. Even if you have two left feet and have never ceilidh'd before, you'll soon be whirling round the dance floor. Fabulous live band. Excellent caller. Real ale at bar (cash bar). “The most awesomely fun thing ever” (Fringe Guru) AGE 15+

What we're about

Brighton Ceilidh Collective host this lively public ceilidh in the heart of Brighton, East Sussex, held on the first Friday of every month. Tickets also available from our own website

Come along from 8pm - 11pm and enjoy raucous ceilidh dancing with live band & caller in a beautiful building, with helpful staff serving awesome ale. Rant is perfect for anyone who's new to this type of dancing, or even if you've done it a hundred times before!

(In case you don't know, ceilidh is a Gaelic word, pronounced 'kayley', and basically means a 'dance party' - an informal social get-together with trad music, have-a-go dancing, refreshments and lots of nonsense!)
