    What we're about

    Private Group

Our Mission: to preserve, teach and support Romanian culture and heritage in an exciting format…

We are a social group – this is a forum to meet other local Romanians and their families to have a great time and make new friends. Our members are in the local area and active in our group – participation to events is required.

The Romanian MeetUp Group is a private group. We want to respect and protect the privacy of all the members. Being private allows us to post and share pictures between the members of the group with a feeling of safety and security. Here are some guidelines, if you are interested in joining:

Profile must have full name, active phone, email and have an actual picture of yourself and/or your family in your profile. No avatars will be acceptable. Fees may be established for larger events to cover for costs and location rentals.
RSVP for all events are required, so we can better plan. No attendance or site participation will result in removal. Members that will not participate to at least one event within twelve months will be removed. You will need to reapply and the approval will be at the discretion of the Organizer Group.
Respect and consideration for others in the group is the highest priority and any form of disrespect will not be tolerated. There is no exception to this rule. Any harassment or threatening contact with other members is grounds for immediate dismissal from the group.

There is no advertising for your own personal benefit or for the benefit of others without permission from leadership. This includes fundraising events, raffle tickets other event or advertising for a product. This is grounds for dismissal and you can be removed. It is best to ask before posting.

We are looking forward to a successful 2014 year, and we hope that we will make together better memories!

    Best wishes,

    The Romanian MeetUp Group Leadership
