NEIGHBORHOOD 3: Requisition of Doom
by Jennifer Haley
Directed by Joanie Schultz
Unnerved by teen addiction to an online video game, a control-obsessed neighborhood in a nameless American town starts to feel dangerous. Strawdog is thrilled to let Joanie Schultz, the directing talent behind Steppenwolf’s fml: how Carson McCullers saved my life, Steep Theatre’s The Receptionist, and About Face’s The Kid Thing, introduce Chicago to this sharp, dark blend of satire and suspense that took the Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Humana Festival by storm in 2008.

Location and Parking
Finding parking in Wrigleyville is often difficult, and there are no public parking garages in the immediate vicinity of the theatre. We recommend using public transportation or taxis whenever possible. If you plan to drive suggest arriving in the area 45 minutes prior to show time in order to find parking, particularly on weekends.
Take the Red Line train and exit at the Sheridan stop. Walk south on Sheridan to the next intersection; this intersection is confusing because at this point Sheridan, which mostly runs north and south, turns east, taking over from Byron Street and Sheffield continues south. Follow Sheridan left (east) and continue two blocks, to the intersection of Broadway & Sheridan. Walk one half a block south on Broadway to the theater.
CTA bus #151 Sheridan. runs North-South from Devon (6400 N) to 200 S Adams.
CTA bus #145 & 146 Express.
The neighborhood around Strawdog is also well-serviced by taxicabs.
